2016

This year we decided to host our own competition for autonomous drones. We spent several weeks brainstorming and discussing possible competiton challenges. We also designed a new vehicle which would serve as a way to showcase the tasks we were asking people to complete in the competition.

The vehicle is now built and we are working on the connection to an odroid for video and sensor processing. We have some of the mapping and computer vision code written.

This summer we will be releasing the challenge and who will be eligible to compete in the competition
